My name is Laci and I’m 9 years old. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and I don’t have the ability to talk so my mom is writing this for me. In addition to having CP I have several other medical issues. I have a seizure disorder and do not have the ability to swallow so I am fed by a feeding tube. My lungs are very weak and I require oxygen when I sleep. I am deaf…I received a cochlear implant when I was 3 but it scared me really bad every time it was turned on so my mom doesn’t make me use it anymore. When I was born I also had 11 hemangioma’s, one was on my chest and it was so large it caused me to go into heart failure 3 times. I’m strong and I fought hard even when the doctors doubted me!
